Prayer Spotlight for August 15-21, 2010: Epiphany Lutheran Church

"Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs,
so that they will not be unfruitful."
~Titus 3.14

Dear Kenmore-connected saints,

Please see the info below on how to help the families devastated by Monday's fire in Lynnwood.

REMEMBER TO VOTE BY THE TUESDAY, AUGUST 17 DEADLINE.

Our Prayer Spotlight this week, August 8-14, has been on Cedar Park Northshore, Pastors Jay and Sandy Smith.
We're so thankful to have them partnering with us in the gospel!

Our Prayer Spotlight this coming week, August 15-21, will be on Epiphany Lutheran Church, Pastor Richard Riggert, 16540 Juanita Drive NE, Kenmore, WA 98028.
"Father in heaven, please bless all our extended family at Epiphany Lutheran Church this week! Their summer focus is Your joy; thank You that Your joy is always available to us and to them, no matter what we are going through....

"Lord Jesus, thank You for focusing on the joy set before You while You were facing death and suffering for our sins. Thank You for enduring and winning the victory! Please encourage Pastor Riggert and his congregation into greater and greater faith; prompt them to ask largely, that their joy might be full in You. Encourage them in every good work and word, Lord. Defend them, in body, soul, and spirit. Grant them to be very fruitful for You in every season of life, in Jesus' Name."

There is a concerted effort on the part of our community and others to come to the aid of the 39 families displaced by the recent apt. fire in Lynnwood.

Praise the Lord that no one perished from this, however lives have been changed drastically.  These families have lost all their possessions.
