RESOURCES for prayer and regional transformation:

LINKS AND RESOURCES:

  • Pray with understanding: See Kenmore Blog, http://kenmoreblog.net/
"What is it then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the Spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also
    ." - 1 Corinthians 14.15

  • Word of the Week by Kathleen Dillard: an encouraging audio message from one of my favorite sisters in Christ
  • KNITTERS, ETC! at Northlake Lutheran Church library, Monday nights, 7-9 p.m. open to everyone who would like to do any type of handiwork (embroidery, crochet, knitting, needlepoint, cross stitch, hand sewing, small plumbing repairs) over tea and conversation. And QUILTERS meet at Epiphany Lutheran Church on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. And CRAFTERS of all types, you are welcome to The Living Room during our regular hours, and if you think an extra evening gathering would be good, let's talk about it!

  • Good news: promote Christlike response to homosexuality in kindness and godliness: http://www.alliestoo.org/allies/index.htm
Allies, Too is developed by Exodus International. Their teen site, http://exodusyouth.net, is another great resource, a very welcome balance to Planned Parenthood's teen site.

  • Initiative Against Sexual Trafficking http://www.iast.net/ has many resources on this topic. "Father, we ask You to stir up our society to take appropriate action against this evil, in Jesus' Name. Let each one of us know and do our part, as You have planned for us from before the foundations of the world. Keep us from idling our lives away in service of self or dancing to the world's tune."
